Sewing pattern tutorial: How to make the Chelsea blouse?
Here is a pattern that has the discreet charm of those who move at a snail's pace but hide their game well... The Chelsea pattern is an adorable blouse pattern with the pretty Fauve details that make the difference: a set of pleats on the sleeve head and a pleated work on the front bust. Its length allows you to tuck it into your pants and its slightly fitted line is flattering and comfortable.
In order to make this pattern accessible to different levels of sewing, we suggest you choose the option with or without a fold on the front bust. Also you can make a buttoned cuff with a tear away slit or a simple cuff assembled as a sleeve band.
I chose to use the midnight blue Lemon viscose twill fabric and make the buttoned cuffs with matching midnight blue sequin buttons (because in life you need sequins right ;)).
Good sewing with the beautiful Chelsea, in graphic print as in plain it will seduce you I'm sure!
