I've already told you a little about the world of this collection in the previous diary entry, which presented the lookbook. This time, I'm going to give you a detailed look at sewing pattern and the new Maison Fauve fabrics, perfect for sewing on. I'll also show you the lovely brands that accompanied us for this crazy shoot.

The Haut Vol dress

This collection has its iconic dress! The beautiful Haut Vol dress is distinguished by its slender look, its skirt worked by pleats, its bust gathered under yoke, and of course its delicate opening on the front neckline. The finishing touches are very well done thanks to the sheath bust. See the video step by step of the pattern here.

The Salto top

A perfect little summer top, the Salto top features fully lined wide straps, front and back bust bands, and the ability to sew a small top or a pretty buttoned top. This is the version we detail in the step by step video.

Our printed viscose poplins are soft and light for summer. Our brightly colored viscose twills will add intensity to your sewing. And we have a full line of pretty buttons to match.

Springboard Pants

Each collection has its "Masterpiece" .... And La Piscine is no exception!

The Tremplin cargo pants have a straight cut, a waist that is neither too high nor too low, and beautiful details that make them unique: delicately worked pocket lines, pleats stitched on the knee for a precise fit that keeps the DNA of these iconic pants. And it comes with 3 leg finishes: straight, elasticated, or with a buttoned placket. This sewing pattern is accompanied bya complete video step-by-step, with the description of the buttoned placket finish.

We offer a new material at Maison Fauve, a cotton sateen slightly elasthaned with a delicate satin finish. Available in khaki and sable, it is a marvel. We have also created for the occasion a range of khaki buttons and sable sequined edge beautiful as small jewels, or buttons horn style elegant and timeless.

The Free Swim Jacket

A pretty jacket to slip on over your light outfits, Nage Libre has the look of a seaside negligee in light fabrics, or a mid-season fabric jacket with more hold. Its pretty collar embellishes the front of the jacket, its raglan sleeves soften the shoulder, and its Fauve detail is already a signature: a yoke that highlights the back. We present the long version with collar in the step by step video but it is also available in a short version without collar band.

As beautiful in our viscose poplins as in our jacquards, the Nage Libre jacket is also offered a new selection of lining fabrics, and a light gold piping to embellish its cut details.

The Grand Bain short

The perfect shorts to show off your legs is Grand Bain: perfect length, comfortable and harmonious volume, and superb work on the Italian pocket, its cut flatters the figure thanks to its double back darts and the width of the thigh. Find the sewing steps in our dedicated sewing tutorial here.

Grand Bain will be beautiful in Twist cotton jacquard with lurex underlined designs that give the perfect "shiny" touch combined with pastel tones. In white gabardine, with a lot of hold, it's the little shorts that we will love for a long time. But lighter fabrics are also very suitable, like our viscose twill.

The beautiful brands that have dived into La Piscine with us

A huge thank you to the shoe and leather goods brand La Botte Gardiane thanks to whom we got some lovely sandals for this shoot. The aesthetics of these natural baked shoes, spartans, mules, and their iconic leather net bag bring a little bohemian summer note to our outfits.

The jewelry brand LA2L came to adorn us with brilliance: fabulous earrings, necklaces, rings, so many wonders, precious gray that have embellished us (you can also discover their wonderful ring Joe Mariage on my finger in all the video tutorials of this collection, I had a love at first sight hihihi).
